The Harmony Valley Fire Association acts as an auxiliary organization to the Fire Department.  It is its own 501c3 non-profit organization separate from the fire district.  Its main focus is fundraising and community education.  The NHFA provides funding to aid the Harmony Valley Fire District in purchasing vehicles and safety equipment.  The NHFA has worked very closely with Washington County, State, and Federal officials in developing a Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) and is working with the community to achieve the goals laid out in the plan.
